Climate Crisis
Climate change has been called the greatest public health challenge of the 21st Century. Despite wide consensus in the scientific community about the nature of the environmental problems facing society, political institutions remain a barrier to transformational change and are generally committed to the status quo. In a vacuum of federal, or even state leadership, communities are recognizing how to make a difference at the local level and pursuing local climate action.
