This article details the findings of a study conducted to explore the association between neighborhood disadvantage and overall wellness in older adults.The study focused on the ability of participants to perform activities required to maintain independence, inclusing bathing, dressing, walking, and moving from one body position to another and included individuals from neighborhoods with differing levels of poverty, employment, education, and housing quality.
