This literature review covers the active changes taking place in the US pertaining to the economy, demographics and morphologies. The factors that drive these outcomes the most are race, class, place, and scale. The three dymanic processes that are identified as the most important determinants of neighborhood change are movement of people, public policies and investments, and flows of private capital.
