Jobs that do not have the same hours every week are hard to handle. Jobs where employees find out their schedule only one or two days before are hard. These scheduling practices make child and family care hard to plan. It also makes scheduling appointments hard. They can also get in the way of someone trying to get a second job if they need one. Fair scheduling understands employees’ lives and responsibilities outside of work. This is to respect their time. It also makes sure that they have time to take care of their families and health.
